Dubai Land Department handles 899 real estate complaints in August 2026
Dubai Land Department handled and resolved 899 real estate complaints in August 2026, as the regulator stepped up oversight of Dubai's property market, according to its August Regulatory Newsletter.
The department also received 184 reports and took the necessary action, while conducting 216 site inspections to verify compliance with real estate regulations during the month.
As part of its oversight of property advertising, Dubai Land Department issued 189 legal warnings for violations of real estate advertising regulations.
A further 127 real estate companies were directed to rectify their status as part of the department's regulatory activities across the sector.
Dubai Land Department also issued 23 violations aimed at maintaining market stability during August.
The figures form part of the department's broader regulatory efforts to strengthen compliance, oversight and transparency across Dubai's real estate market.
