Abu Dhabi Property Sales Top $31.8 Billion in Nine Months
Abu Dhabi property sales reached $31.8 billion (AED 116.7 billion) across more than 23,000 transactions in the first nine months of 2026, surpassing the emirate's full-year 2025 sales value by 25.1%, according to data from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) reviewed by Al Masdar Al Aqaari.
The nine-month total exceeded the $25.4 billion (AED 93.3 billion) recorded through approximately 25,000 property sales transactions during the whole of 2025, leaving three months remaining in the year.
Residential properties accounted for approximately 83% of Abu Dhabi's total property sales value between January and September, generating $26.4 billion (AED 96.8 billion) in sales.
Villa sales represented the largest share of residential property sales by value, reaching approximately $14.7 billion (AED 53.8 billion), equivalent to 55.6% of the residential total. Apartment sales amounted to approximately $11.7 billion (AED 43 billion), accounting for the remaining 44.4%.
Villa transactions exceeded apartment sales by $2.94 billion (AED 10.8 billion) during the nine-month period, highlighting the segment's substantial contribution to Abu Dhabi's residential property market.
Meanwhile, mortgage transactions registered in Abu Dhabi exceeded $12.3 billion (AED 45.2 billion) from January to September 2026, according to ADREC data.
