Dubai Apartment Sales Hit $4 Billion in August 2026
Dubai recorded residential apartment sales worth $4 billion (AED 15 billion) across 9,519 transactions in August 2026, according to Dubai Land Department data analyzed by Al Masdar Al Aqaari.
The performance followed July, when apartment transactions totaled 11,688 deals valued at $4.82 billion (AED 17.7 billion).
Off-plan apartments accounted for the largest share of activity in August, with 7,038 transactions worth $2.97 billion (AED 10.9 billion). Ready apartments accounted for a further 2,481 sales valued at $1.09 billion (AED 4 billion).
Dubai South leads off-plan apartment sales
Airport City in Dubai South, near Al Maktoum International Airport, led Dubai's off-plan apartment market in August, recording 1,723 sales worth $463.2 million (AED 1.7 billion).
City of Arabia ranked second by transaction volume, with 753 off-plan apartment sales worth $186.1 million (AED 683 million).
JVC tops ready apartment transactions
Jumeirah Village Circle recorded the highest number of ready apartment transactions during the month, with 359 sales valued at $89.1 million (AED 327 million).
Business Bay ranked second with 186 transactions worth $92.4 million (AED 339 million), exceeding Jumeirah Village Circle in total sales value despite recording fewer deals.
Dubai's most expensive apartment sales in August
The most expensive apartment sale recorded in Dubai during August was an off-plan residence at OMNIYAT's ORLA Infinity on Palm Jumeirah, sold for $21.53 million (AED 79 million).
An off-plan apartment at Meraas' Jumeira Asora Bay in Jumeirah 1, near La Mer, ranked second at $17.71 million (AED 65 million). A residence at Binghatti's Bugatti Residences in Business Bay followed at $17.17 million (AED 63 million).
Other high-value apartment transactions included two residences at Aman Residences Dubai in Jumeirah 2, which sold for $15.68 million (AED 57.56 million) and $14.91 million (AED 54.74 million).
